WAN Tsz Yui Isaac 尹梓睿 As a handbell enthusiast, Wan has been keen in exploring various fields in handbell music. Having shadowed Dr John Behnke on composition and Ms Christine Chan on conducting, his accumulated experiences enabled him to further develop his passion and expertise. Wan is now a handbell conductor, composer, arranger, and ringer. He is also one of the co-founders of Hong Kong-based community handbell choir Volitio Ringers. Wan was introduced to the world of handbells when he was 12 by joining the Handbells and Handchimes Team in his secondary school. Since being chosen as the leader of the team at the age of 15, Wan has started to arrange music for performances and developed the hobby of arranging and composing music. After graduation, Wan became one of the founding members of Volitio Ringers, now one of the conductors and composers of the team. PANG Kwan 彭珺 Pang Kwan, Kevin attained his medical degree and Master of Arts in Music at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He is in his study of Master of Music at CUHK, under the supervision of Prof Chan Kai Young. His compositions have been performed at the National Symphony Orchestra Musicians at Home Concert in USA, Hong Kong Contemporary Music Festival 2020, Interactive Platform for Contemporary Music Appreciation of Hong Kong Composers’ Guild and Ensemble-in-Residence concerts of CUHK Department of Music. CHAN Nok Him 陳諾謙 Chan Nok-him has studied piano and cello since he was small and first started learning composition at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, studying under Poly Ng. He has participated in the international Golden Key Music Festival’s Piano Composition Competition, attaining first runner-up and second runner-up honours. He was also the champion and first runner-up in the Composition Class in the 70th and 68th Hong Kong Schools Music Festivals, respectively. He was shortlisted twice in the ‘New Generation Call for Scores’ organized by the Hong Kong Composers’ Guild. WONG Yeuk Hei 黃若曦 Finished bachelor degree in music education at Education University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong Institute of Education) with honour. During the course he followed professors studying different types music education method, conducting and composition. He followed Ms. Hui finishing grade eight piano when he was young. During university period, he finished Performance Certificate in Trinity College of Music and Licentiate diploma in recital in solo piano with the distinction. He studied the composition skill with Dr. Lai. and finished the grade eight theory after studying the course of the Hong Kong Academic of Performing Arts (HKAPA).He studied music theory criticism and literature diploma (AMusTCL) with Dr. Cheng. and finished the Diploma in music theory Licentiate of Trinity College London(LMusTCL) by self-studied. He respect his teachers and feel happy to study with them. After he had graduated from university he registrated as a teacher in Hong Kong Government Education Bureau and has been teaching piano and theory in one of the biggest piano centre. He recently starts a publication company for books and music publication（iTunes, spotify..etc) and becomes a member of Hong Kong Composer Guild. LAM Kwan Fai 林鈞暉 林鈞暉，一位於國際舞台上屢獲獎項的作曲家，作品以多元化見稱，由學術到商業、古典到前衛，遍及電影、戲劇、舞蹈，跨媒體等。曾留學美國加洲藝術學院（又名迪士尼學校），畢業後獲藝術家簽證，留美工作。在美期間曾參與多個何荷里活電影的大型製作，亦為多個著名劇團擔任作曲家一職。個人獎項包括國際作曲家比賽「許常惠創作獎」及「亞洲作曲家同盟的青年作曲家獎」；其參與作品曾提名「國際艾美獎最佳紀錄長片」、「動畫奧斯卡 Annie Award」最佳學生作品、榮獲「蒙地雷國際電影節」最佳劇情短片，「IndieProducers’ Award 2009」最佳動畫等。 先後畢業於香港演藝學院及美國加州藝術學院作曲系。在學其間多次獲獎，包括零六於台灣主辦的國際作曲家比賽「許常惠創作獎」，零七年「亞洲作曲家同盟的青年作曲家獎」。以及零九年獲香港賽馬會全額獎學金赴美完成其碩士課程。林氏活躍於參與不同媒體音樂製作，如電影、戲劇及舞蹈。其參與配樂的電影作品曾於不同的國際電影節中參展並獲獎，包括 Across Land Across Sea 提名「第四十一屆國際艾美獎」最佳紀錄長片，The Monk 榮獲「第三屆鮮浪潮國際電影節」最佳短片，Little By Little 榮獲「蒙地雷國際電影節」最佳劇情短片, The Lost Generation 「IndieProducers’ Award 2009」最佳動畫。 劇場方面，林氏於零七至零八年，出任由康樂及文化事務署與國際演藝評論家協會(香港分會)所協辦的「《舒寫戲舞》音樂劇表演/評論培訓計劃」的音樂總監一職，同時付責作曲及作詞的工作。在加州藝術學院畢業後，同時亦於艾美獎提名作曲家 Gil Talmi 的電影配樂工作室，以自由身身份參與不同的大型製作。其他合作劇團包括， Stella Alder Acting Studio (New York), Boston Court Theater (Pasadena), Early Morning Opera (LA)。一三年夏天，林氏獲加州聖地牙哥著名劇院 The Old Globe Theater 邀請，參與創作其重點劇目 Double Indemnity。創作團隊包括殿堂級設計師，東尼獎得主 Christopher Barreca, 耶魯大學設計系主任 Stephen Strawbridge 等。 MAJOR WORKS 主要作品 Back

HUNG Ming-kin Christopher 洪銘健 Described as “beautifully evoked…in a type of ordered chaos”, “meticulous attempt on the balance of the sound of modern music”, the music of Hong Kong composer Dr Chris Hung has first gained international recognition in 2010, with his work “Infinite Soundscape” premiered by International Contemporary Ensemble (USA) at the Darmstadt Summer Course in Germany. One of the salient features of Hung’s composition is his use of kaleidoscopic details, merging different cultural styles between the East and West. His diverse oeuvre includes an array of about 70 works from instrumental solo to orchestral music, as well as audio-visual works and choral music. Hung’s scores are published by Universal Edition scodo (Germany), BabelScores (France) and Trübcher Music Editions (UK). Over the past fifteen years, Dr Hung’s works have been performed and broadcasted throughout Europe, as well as USA and Asian countries in various leading festivals, such as Beijing Modern Music Festival (China), ISCM World Music Days (Slovenia), Sibelius 150th Anniversary Celebration (Finland), Music Biennale Zagreb (Croatia) etc. He was composer-fellows in CoMA New Music Residency (UK), Singapore Chinese Orchestra Workshop and composer-in-residence of Nexus Ensemble. In addition, Hung was a recipient of numerous awards, such as ALEA III International Composition Competition (USA) (First Prize),“Sofia 2013” International Composition Competition (Bulgaria) (First Prize); International Composers' Competition of the I. LAM Kin Yee Gabriel 林建兒 Lam is a contemporary composer and conductor, music director of 2 Proclaim Production, full member of the Hong Kong Composers' Guild Ltd., Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong. He was a electronic music lecturer of The Baptist Theological Seminary, and was a music lecturer of Full Time Worker Training Theological Seminary. Adjudicator of the «Schools Creative Music Showcase» at Arts Education Section CDI, EDB; one of the author of the «Chinese Symphonic Music Expo». 2012 as a inverted editor of “Chinese Christian Literature Council Ltd.” Lam was an active conductor and arranger of varies school orchestras. He participated in different schools’ compositional schemes as an instructor. Recently, He focus in the conducting of different choirs, such as he was the conductor of “God With Us Assembly”, was the conductor and director of “Tun Mun Alliance church’s Choir”. 2005 became the reorganised conductor of “Christian Choral Society of Hong Kong”; he was the conductor and arranger of “The Chamber Orchestra of Evangelical Free Church of China”. 2004 became the conductor of “Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong Kau Yan Church’s Choir” until now. Lam had, for a number of years committed to composing, arranging and producing tapes and CDs for Christian organisations. "What Is Man" is one of his early compositions. 《万華鏡》 Kaleidoscope 何晴煒 Ho Ching-wai 何晴煒現為香港演藝學院二年級生，師隨李嘉怡女士，主修作曲及電子音樂。何氏的創作包括室內樂、無伴奏合唱、流行歌曲及電影配樂。在學期間曾獲得香港特別行政區政府獎學金、香港演藝學院傑出獎學金以及鄭桂生先生紀念獎學金。 Ho Ching-wai is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Music Composition & Electronic Music under the guidance of Ms. Li Kar-yee. Her previous works include chamber music, A cappella, pop songs and film scoring. She has been awarded the HKSAR Government Scholarship, the HKAPA Recruitment & Outstanding Scholarships and Mr. K. S. Cheng Memorial Scholarship throughout her study years. 這首作品靈感來自於令人懷念的兒時玩具「萬花筒」。透過不同音色的運用以及打擊樂器間的互動和交織，描繪出穿透進「萬花筒」的光，色彩繽紛的幾何對稱形狀、以及不斷轉動和變換的畫面。 This piece is inspired by the nostalgic childhood plaything, the kaleidoscope. The composition depicts the shimmering light passing through the kaleidoscope, the colourful geometric and symmetrical shapes, and the ever-changing views produced by the rotating mechanism through the use of various timbres and the rhythmic interplay of percussion instruments.
