The program includes As the Echo Fades by So Chuen-on, ...but only the radiant,shimmering- by Angus Lee, and Bio-Amendment by Alice Yeung —three distinct works that push the boundaries of sonic experience. Visions of Sounds :A MultiMedia Musical Journey Curated by the Hong Kong Composers’ Guild, Visions of Sound: A Multimedia Music Journey will take place on Wednesday, 11 February 2026 at 8:00PM at the Hong Kong City Hall Theatre.Bringing together three composer-led creative teams, this concert blends music, visuals, and lighting to construct an immersive experience that traverses the boundaries between reality and illusion. More than a concert of "sound," Visions of Sound is an artistic experiment that navigates the space between perception and imagination. Each work presents a unique rethinking of musical narrative, spatial awareness, and interdisciplinary expression—inviting audiences into an immersive world crafted through sound, light, and image. 🔸 Programme Highlights: "As the Echo Fades" Creative team : So Chuen-on, Claire Wong, Lam Yuk-hei, Tang Ho-wai, Nickole Li A work of moving images and sound that constructs a memory space in flux—guiding the audience through states of transformation and disappearance, re-seeing, re-listening, and re-feeling in the process. "...But only the radiant, shimmering -" Creative team : Angus Lee, Amy Chan, Karen Yu Inspired by Jon Fosse’s novel Kvitleit, this multimedia work fuses light and sound to blur the edges of perception. It explores spiritual transformation through extreme environments and the shifting zones between hallucination and reality. "Bio-Amendment" Creative team : Alice Yeung, Eagle Wu, Kenny Wong Using simulated surgical procedures and real-time motion-responsive sound, this work transforms the body into a bio-instrument—probing the tension between technological augmentation and human physicality. 🎟️ Tickets available via URBTIX: https://www.urbtix.hk/event-detail/14466 About the Artists "..But only the radiant, shimmering -" Angus Lee Composer Lee is recognised as one of Hongkong's most exciting composers, with compositions spanning the solo, chamber, orchestral and operatic genres, performed at international music festivals across Asia, continental Europe, the UK, and North America.
