Chung Tsz-yin is currently studying in the Composition and Electronic Music Department at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, under the mentorship of Dr. Cheung Pui-shan. During his studies, Chung focuses on chamber music composition and is dedicated to exploring the fusion of art music and popular music, aiming to create works that appeal to both refined and popular tastes.

The piece is inspired by nostalgia for a “golden era.” Everyone has their own special “golden era” in their heart, but instead of dwelling on the past, “living in the now” makes more sense. The music alternates between two different textures to show the clash between memories and reality.
