Cheung Hei-lam is a year two student at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in music composition and electronic music. She is currently learning from Dr. Florence Cheung Pui-shan. Her works include chamber music, film music and electronic music.

This piece is inspired by the topography of mountain range. The music uses the contrast between long notes and staccato, also the rise and fall, and continuous phrases to imitate mountain chain formed by many ridges and valleys.
