HO Anna Vienna
何雅鈉

Born in Hong Kong, Anna Vienna Ho is a versatile musician whose career spans roles as concert pianist, répétiteur, composer, opera singer and conductor. She has worked with organisations including Welsh National Opera, Birmingham Opera Company and Opera Novella. Anna has been selected as an Artist by Du Vert à l'Infini festival, Syntropy, RMN Classical, Cities and Memory, and the Montpelier Arts Center Classical Recital. Anna holds an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma and a Master of Music in Piano Performance (with distinction) from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music from Hong Kong Baptist University. During her studies she received numerous awards and scholarships.

A prizewinner in several international piano competitions, Anna’s honours include awards at the Concours International Léopold Bellan, Rome International Music Competition, International Robert Schumann Klavier Wettbewerb, Internationaler Deutscher Irmler‑Klavierwettbewerb and the Abergavenny Eisteddfod Y Fenni. As a pianist she has given solo recitals and appeared in prestigious concert halls across Asia and Europe, including the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Town Hall, Parco della Musica, Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall and Hong Kong City Hall.

Anna also performs actively as a vocalist. Passionate about opera, her repertoire ranges from the Baroque to the contemporary. Stage roles include Giannetta in L'elisir d'amore, Frasquita in Carmen, First Lay Sister in Suor Angelica for Musica Viva, Geraldine in A Hand of Bridge for HKIIM, the Third Apparition in Verdi's Macbeth for Opera In A Box and Gherardino in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi for London Gay Symphony Orchestra. She has won first prize in competitons such as the Holmfirth Musical Festival, Newcastle‑under‑Lyme Festival of Music, and the Coulsdon and Purley Festival.

Her compositions, spanning instrumental, vocal, electroacoustic, multimedia and operatic works, have been premiered worldwide by various performers. Commissions and collaborations include New Generation 2014 ("The Forester" for string quartet), London Oriana Choir ("The Infinite Shining Heavens" for SATB choir), Birmingham Opera Company ("It Gets Lighter From Here" digital project), David Bohn’s Twenty Seconds of 2020 ("Chase" for solo clavietta), Fifteen Minutes of Fame ("Fedora" for solo bass flute), Tête à Tête Opera Festival ("Buddha and the Monkey King", "The Monk of the River" and "The Monster of Gao Village"), Château du Fresne‑Saint‑Mamès ("Sea Creatures in Our Minds and Hearts"), Radio Luxembourg's Radio Arts District and the Chijana International Festival, Radiophrenia Glagrow, LCB Depot’s Sound 2023 Leicester, “Containment” Exhibition Hong Kong("Dynamic Zero"), Syntropy States("Orion") and K622 Clarinet Ensemble ("Inevitable" for clarinet quartet). She was the recipient of the Global Best Creative Awards 2025.

生於香港,何雅鈉以鋼琴家、作曲家、練唱指導、歌劇演員和指揮等多個身份活躍於音樂界,合作過的團體包括威爾斯國家歌劇院、伯明翰歌劇公司和新星歌劇團等。她現為法國Du Vert a L'infini音樂節、英國 Syntropy States, RMN Classical 、Cities and Memory和美國蒙彼利埃藝術中心古典獨奏會系列的藝術家。何氏在香港浸會大學取得音樂文學士(榮譽)學位後,以優異成績於英國皇家伯明翰音樂學院獲得鋼琴演奏音樂碩士學位及該學院最高級的演奏家專業文憑,學習期間屢獲獎學金。

何氏曾獲得多個本地和國際鋼琴比賽的首獎,當中包括巴黎貝朗國際音樂比賽、莫斯科國際音樂比賽、羅馬國際音樂大賽、德國歐米勒國際鋼琴公開賽、舒曼國際青少年鋼琴大賽和威爾斯阿伯加文尼藝術節等。作為一名活躍的鋼琴家,她曾在不同地方舉行獨奏會,並在各個音樂會中擔任鋼琴獨奏,獻藝於亞洲和歐洲的主要音樂會場地,如皇家阿爾伯特音樂廳、伯明翰市政廳、羅馬音樂公園禮堂、東京歌劇城音樂廳和香港大會堂等。

何氏亦於不同音樂會上擔任女高音獨唱,並屢次獲邀於英國拉格比聖安德魯教堂之午間演奏會系列中獻技。何氏熱愛歌劇,曾演出的角色包括非凡美樂製作的唐尼采蒂《愛情靈藥》的珍娜達、比才《卡門》的弗拉絲姬塔和普契尼《修女安潔莉卡》的俗世修女、香港國際音樂學校製作的巴伯《一局橋牌》的嬌拉汀、英國倫敦愉快交響樂團製作的普契尼《強尼•史基基》的小蓋拉爾和盒子歌劇團製作的威爾第《馬克白》的幽靈等,其他參演的歌劇涵蓋巴洛克時期到現代,包括莫扎特、美聲時期及真實主義等不同風格的作品。何氏曾於多個音樂節的聲樂比賽中奪冠,包括霍姆弗斯音樂節、紐卡斯爾安德萊姆音樂節、朗威爾格林與金斯伍德表演藝術節和東格林斯特德音樂藝術節等。

何氏的作品涵蓋器樂獨奏、聲樂、室樂和歌劇作品,於世界各地首演,包括:弦樂四重奏《行林者》(香港電台「音樂新一代」) 、合唱作品《無限閃耀的天堂》(倫敦奧里亞娜合唱團) 、歌劇《如來與大聖》、《江流兒》和《剛鬣》(Tête à Tête 當代歌劇節) 、音樂短片「It Gets Lighter From Here」(伯明翰歌劇公司) 及低音長笛獨奏《費多拉帽》(「十五分鐘成名」)、《勢》 (K622 Clarinet Ensembles)等。她的聲音藝術作品《密碼》被英國Cities and Memory、德國 HIFMB 海洋生物多樣性研究所和 AWI 極地和海洋研究中心揀選並收錄於《Polar Sounds》專輯内,以探討通過藝術可以理解和重新詮釋極地海洋的多種方式;她的聲音藝術作品《動態清零》於盧森堡、美國和蘇格蘭廣播,並於香港及英國的多個藝術展覽中展出。最近,何氏與Syntropy States的其他藝術家合作,以透過藝術、音樂、呼吸和放鬆來促進社會健康為目標創作新作品。在2025年,何氏獲頒全球最佳創意獎。
