HONG KONG CONTEMPORARY MUSIC FESTIVAL: GLOBAL DELIGHTS
To promote creativity, innovative musical ideas, advanced musical appreciation, and virtuosic performance, Hong Kong Composers’ Guild (HKCG) is proud to present the Hong Kong Contemporary Music Festival: Global Delights. Original compositions selected by HKCG will be showcased in the following concerts:

Concert with Accordion and Chamber Ensemble
A total of 20 contemporary music will be featured in this festival, with 7 commissioned pieces composed by local composers including Chris HUNG, Adrian LAM, Matthew LAM, LUK Wai-chun, PANG Chun-ting, LEUNG Hong-yu and WONG Ching-yin.
A press conference for the event was held on Monday, 3 October 2022 at the Dance Studio in Youth Square. The Honourable Officiating Guests were Professor Darwin CHEN, Mr. Sunny YEUNG (Director of the Council Board of Hong Kong Arts Festival) and HKCG Chairman Dr. MUI Kwong-chiu.
In parallel with the concerts, there will be 3 pre-concert talks with performers (in physical or online form) being held on 31 October, 25 November and 16 December respectively. The speakers include Dr. Anthony CHENG, Dr. Adilia YIP and Martina JEMBRIšAK.
Hong Kong Contemporary Music Festival: Global Delights is presented by HKCG, sponsored by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and CASH Music Fund.
