1980-85 Studied music at Hong Kong Music Institute
1990 Advanced Dip(Distinction), major in Music Composition with Mr. Law Wing Fai
  BA(Hons) in music  in CUHK, studied Music Composition with Dr.Chan Wing Wah
1998 Started the MMus in Music Composition at CUHK
1999 Teaching  conducting, music theory, composition,. and orchestration at the continuing schools of HKAPA, CUHK, and HKU
2000-2002 Composer in residence in Schools Creative Music Making Project & ISCM World New Music Days 2002
