The Lee Hysan Concert Hall is a happy addition to the musical world of Hong Kong.  Its fabulous design and excellent acoustic properties have gained great acclaim from all who have performed there.  It was built to facilitate teaching at the Department of Music as well as provide music-related service to Hong Kong.  Through the generous support of Dr. Deanna Lee Rudgard, the support of the University and Chung Chi College, the Lee Hysan Concert Hall was completed in Spring 2001.  The Auditorium is noted for its excellent acoustics, which maintains a high fidelity and produces a natural sound effect.  It is an ideal venue for professional musical performances.  The Lee Hysan Concert Hall symbolizes the University's commitment to the arts and enriches the cultural endeavour of the community.  Established in the year 1965, the Music Department of Chinese University of Hong Kong has long been a leading force in tertian music education.  This concert hall will be a place where music students can be professionally trained and music lovers can enjoy performances.
